The Dunedin Fine Art Center is a family-friendly art center located in the historic city of Dunedin, Florida. Our mission is to inspire and educate children and adults from all walks of life about art through exhibitions, workshops, programs and arts education. The DFINE aims to provide an inclusive environment where anyone can enjoy the arts. The DFINE has two locations in the City of Dunedin: the Main Gallery (located in City Hall), and our second location, the Malaga Museum (located inside of Malaga Historical Museum). Both locations are easily accessed from I-75 or Downtown Dunedin via our free shuttle service that runs throughout both locations on a daily basis. Call your friends and family to visit this amazing destination at 1143 Michigan Blvd, Dunedin, FL 34698. Our info.
What types of events are held here?
We host various art events throughout the year. The events vary in type and length to fit the needs of our community. For example, we have a special event for families with children with autism and other developmental disabilities called “Art for All.” We also host special events for military families, senior citizens and the public with disabilities. The DFINE is also a popular venue for weddings, receptions and corporate events. The events held in our facilities are often geared toward the City of Dunedin, and may include seminars and workshops on local history, city events and activities, and other information relevant to the community.
When should I bring a kid to a fine art event at the DFINE?
While we host many events for the general public, we do have a few events specifically designed for children. Please view our events calendar to see which events are suitable for your family, and whether they require an entrance fee. We recommend that children be at least 5 years of age to attend events at the DFINE. We offer a free shuttle service to and from the DFINE, and parents may also want to bring a stroller or wheelchair to accommodate young children. All events are free, but we do have a small fee for some special events such as weddings.
